I came across something rather disturbing today while reading a "news" site that I frequently read.

This Friday, a movie musical of 9/11 will be showing in select theatres. It's called Clear Blue Tuesday.

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around this one. :mmph:

That trailer was posted a year ago. I hope that it's someone's idea of a very sick joke.

I don't understand why you are opposed to this movie unless you have more information about it than I do. I haven't seen it, so I can only respond based on the limited information I see. It doesn't look well-made, but I'm not opposed to the concept.

Hitler in World War II committed travesties on a far greater scale than that of 9/11. I haven't met anyone opposed to films depicting the horrendous crimes perpetrated then. It would be one thing to glorify the crime, but from what I see of Clear Blue Tuesday, they aren't glorifying the crime. They are dealing with the aftermath. For thousands of years humans have expressed themselves in art, poetry, drama, etc. I do not have a problem with humans expressing their pain, grief, and attempt at finding joy in life after a tragedy.

It is far more dangerous to ignore what happened by refusing to express it, lest we forget what happened.
