Hi Guys, This is a real submission that I am working on. I know it will be too cute for most of you "manly" men but I was hoping that it could go on a kids or baby's tshirt or if some of the ladies like the design. Please post your comments either here or on threadless. I would love to get some feed back!.:loving:


It is titled "Pet store reject" or "the meowctopus"
Also.. Version two has the orange tabby to give you color choices. Thanks!

ok, i added another version with some more background environment. Do you guys see anything that I could do to improve the design? Thanks for the feedback!
 
It's cute. Definitely like v4 best. The cat looks really ticked though. I guess that is a result of being a reject? :rofl: Have you thought about sticking a "C" on the collar tag...just to mark it as your design? Just a thought.

Change the design to a dog would definitely be an improvement. (but don't mind me - I hate cats)

Wait for Spazntwitch to weigh in (he likes cats)
 
I might have a dog version later. But I love both dogs and cats.

the idea was that the meowctopus is about to munch on some fishies. That is why she has that mischievous face.

I think you should make the cat have "googly" eyeds and licking his lips, like he is ready to chow down on some fish :)
 
one of the forgettable Bond films in the '80s was titled Octopussy.
I suppose in that vein your shirt would have to be Pentapussy?
 
hmm i did make the eyes bigger... i made the fish look scared and made the cactopus happier. so now she looks more misunderstood than mischievous. Thanks for the feedback guys!

So i actually posted my design up for scoring if you guys wouldn't mind rating it.

and yes.. pentapussy.... which still sounds aweful. But the first thing my dad said when he saw it was .... how come it only has 5 tails, isn't it supposed to be 8? I'm just saying the last three are behind it =P

Do you have to be logged in to rate it?
 
There's something not right about the eyes to me. I think they need to be more completed. Big and full. Did you see how he looks if his face is more cutsey baby sad?
 
Can you put a fish up close to the face of the cat thing and make the fish look scared with really wide eyes and gaping mouth?
 
oh poop.. i submitted this yesterday. I made all the fish look scared with scared mouths. it might be hard to see. I put an upclose shot in the submission. Thanks for the feedback. I think the next design i'll take these into consideration.
