No doubt everyone has seen the clips of President Bush being pelted by two shoes thrown by the Journalist in Iraq! What are your thoughts....should he be punished or not? If so, by what measures and by who's dictates?

My own personal thoughts are shock for one thing! If he fired off one shoe, how did the second one get airborne? Where were the Secret Service Agents, and, why were they not closer to the President?!?!? I consider the act an attack on the USA President, and, that joker should have some jail time.:mmph:
 
Who are we punishing? Bush or the shoe-thrower?

BTW: I just caught the clip. I thought his reaction time was FANTASTIC!

My husband said the same thing... Where were the secret service?
 
I think it's horrible what was done...however I did find Bush's laughter about it quite entertaining.
 
Where was secret service? I thought they would take a bullet from him, doesn't a shoe count?

How the heck could one be so sure there weren't explosives in the shoes. Do they screen for those?
 
made me think of the WiiFit soccer game where you've got to head the balls but dodge the cleats.

I just have this to say......that guy was an amateur when it comes to shoes.:doh:....obviously he was never trained on the usages of the deadly red stiletto........:lost:
