This is why you submit the $61.98 Buy.com receipt and not the Google Checkout $41.98 receipt. :bigok:

Buy.com does not provide a receipt for orders purchased through Google Checkout. This is stated on the info page for Google Checkout. The receipt is from Google.

Thanks for pointing that out Chuckie.........some people don't
know that and I'm afraid unwary buyers will find themselves
being denied this rebate since it's more than purchase price....
at least they told people about it in the rebate......some other
stores don't.

I have bought items from Office Depot that were less than
the rebate value and still been paid.....but you have to be careful
and when I did the rebate never said "the rebate value will not exceed
purchase price".
 
buy.com receipt

unless they have changed something,
you can print out a buy.com receipt if you log in the order number, last name and phone number at buy.com. choose order look-up and type in the info.

Here's how to get your Buy.com receipt with a Google Checkout order:

1. Login to your Google Checkout account and go to purchase history
2. Click on the Order in question to view the Google receipt.
3. Copy the 8-digit Buy.com Order #
4. Go to Buy.com HERE (must NOT currently be logged in to buy.com)
5. Click on Order Lookup underneath the Buy.com logo
6. Paste the 8-digit order number
7. Fill in Last Name and Phone Number used to place order
8. Click on Find Order
9. Click on View Receipt
10. Print

The pdf file for the rebate appears to be damaged. Has anyone else found this? Perhaps someone has a good link to the pdf file for the rebate? Thanks.

Hmmm, I just now clicked the rebate link again and it loaded perfectly fine into Adobe Reader 7.0.8 for me. No problems here. :hmm:
 
has anyone who ordered this received the item? mine appears to be in a limbo of indifinite backordered. rebate must be postmarked by 12/26 ...
