Amazon orders

Check your orders on Amazon.com for arrival dates in your order status. I ordered from their deals yesterday and only picked items that were "in stock" and now they all say they won't arrive until after Christmas. I'm going to leave them up for a week or two, but may have to cancel them and go somewhere else for my presents that I ordered from there if that status is accurate. In fact, several of them still show as "in stock" when browsing them to buy again.

EDiT: I canceled an item that showed as 1-4 weeks to ship and the order now shows as shipping next week.

Amazon gives the option to ship everything as one package (less $, takes longer) or ship everything as it's available (more $, things ship faster). If you have 1 item that will take forever to ship (1-4 weeks), it will mess up all your other items that might ship faster if you combine the shipping. Your best bet in these cases is to order the in-stock/fast ship things as 1 order, and the slow/back ordered things as another order.
 
When ever I order from them they always give me some far away date for shipment arrivle, but shipment always come in about a week.
 
Remember we are getting very close to Christmas and shipping volume is way up at this time of the year. If you don't have your orders in yet you may be out of luck to get your stuff by Christmas with out paying for a faster shipping option.
 
What's the number that you can call to get a refund when the price drops on Amazon?

Anyone?

I placed an order today using free super saver shipping and shipping is estimated on Dec 18th. I am crossing my fingers they ship faster but I may have to upgrade my shipping. :worry: Grr! I hate to pay for shipping! :mmph:

I have had this happen too. I actually had 1 item say it was in stock, so I ordered it with overnight shipping (Amazon Prime). When I got the confirmation email, it said it wouldn't arrive until the following week. So I went down to Bed Bath & Beyond to buy one. Then got home to cancel the one from Amazon, and it was being processed for shipping. So I couldn't cancel it. The arrival date still showed the later date. It ended up arriving the next day, but I refused it. If the system showed the correct info, I never would have gone down to BBB and then refused this order.

I got my order today! I didn't even upgrade shipping. That was fast!::bigok:
