http://www.officedepot.com/offers/save.do and use code "48265349" to activate the $20 off coupon (EXP 09/13/03). Then search for "882685" to find the APC 500VA UPS Power Supply for $79.86. Add to cart. Your total is then $79.86 - $20 off - $10 Rebate (EXP 09/20/03) - $20 rebate (EXP 09/13/03) = $29.86 with free shipping

c'mon, vvx. don't be so sarcastic. ford50mus has been posting good deals here a lot, and we should appreciate him more.

But ford50mus, i still can't get the link to work neither. it says it can't find the item. i even browsed thru APC products and could not even find similar item.

Link works fine for me, no pic though, might be a regional thing s to why the link isn't working for some of you. Says 3 day delivery in my case...

Here is the pic of it

Includes 500VA Battery Backup UPS, Surge Protector, and USB 2.0 Cable.

Well, I was logged in with my account when I tried it, perhaps that's the difference... perhaps you need to be logged in, and thus the webpage to know your zip, to know to display if it's available or not.

I can just as merrily send ya a screen cap of my having successfully used the link :)

I logged out, but even then, it still shows my zip code in the upper right hand corner. Tried california zip of 90001 and still found it. Maybe enter the zip code to browse by first, who the hell knows.

This is what I get for the url afer I use 882685 as the search

http://www.officedepot.com/txtSearchDD.do?searchTxt=882685

Your screen caps show an extra

&x=8&y=2

at the end of the url, maybe it's trying to guess the zip or it's lacking that parameter and that's what.

No need, I trust you. I just dislike people not believing you when you say you can't find the deal being discussed. As if your typing in the number wrong repeatedly or something.. :(

I just used the link on the first page of the thread posted by ford50mus after I said I couldn't find it.

I did create an account and after logging in using the search works (as does the link). No picture and it only describes the item as "USB,CABLE,BUNDLE,UPS/SURG" so you wouldn't have any clue what it was or who made it if it wasn't for the heads up here. :)

I'm in Pa. and it is not working here either. No such product.
Thanks anyway. :D

Thanks!

I've been thinking about purchasing one of these but haven't gotten around to it. I can't pass up a deal like this though! Thanks! :)

Well, then it seems being logged in has something to do with it working.

The page does show the manufacturer number, PCBUN1, and if you look that up on google you'll see it is indeed an APC 500VA unit even though they themselves provide no such description. Since you're new, I'll explain that this is not exactly uncommon for officedepot.com. It isn't the norm, but there have been many times when purchasing PNY or Kingston ram, where if I search using words like PNY or Kingston I cannot find the product but if one knows the item # they can order by item number and voila, there it is magically.

Albeit lacking a picture or much of a description.

Think of it as a hidden package in GTA or an "easter egg" in a game. It's there, but it's not easily found, but the deals are good all the same. And that's why deal sites look spoofee are so nifty cool cause you'd not find this kinda deal out on your own very easily ;)
