APC BX 1500 Battery Back-UPS for $49.99 After Rebate

Do anyone know if APC's UPS can also monitor voltages and detailed UPS status through their program?

The belkin UPS I have right now can monitor voltage and frequency coming in and out of the UPS, battery voltage, and load level with their software. Last APC UPS I had didn't have such feature. So I'm wondering if this one is capable of doing that.

Yes you can monitor this stuff with APC UPS. The guy in the cubical next to me has this same UPS and monitors all of this on his ubuntu box. I'm assuming the windows software will do the same thing.

This is in store only right? If so then I have no chance getting once because I live 2 hrs away from the nearest Office Depot

but keep in mind that this $10 off coupon expires on Saturday 17th!

Not valid for purchases:

3) of any technology items (including but not
limited to all computers, monitors, printing machines, networking, peripherals,
cameras, memory, software);

I believe that UPS's are considered to be a peripheral. Also this coupon is only good for current Work Force members.

Great. Non of the stores near my area had this UPS. (Northern VA)

The store I went told me they never received this UPS from the warehouse.

I got one ! I got one ! And that $10 coupon did NOT work but the checkout person felt sorry for me and gave me a $3-off deal.

This is definitely the newer, better APC version. They have 3 more and I may consider buying another one.

The old ones were big and bulky - - and heavy. This one is 1/2 the size and is 1500.

A great deal.

Awesome deal!

I just picked one up at my local Office Depot about a mile away. :teeth: I got a Belkin 1500VA UPS for my server about a year ago and it's worked perfectly, but I needed another high-capacity UPS that I could plug at least three regular desktop computers into, as my current 750VA Belkin one was too heavily loaded. This APC one works just as well as the 1500VA Belkin I paid about $150 for a year ago and is definitely the biggest bargain I've ever seen on a high-capacity UPS. I have another APC wallmount UPS and have been very satisfied with it also (also, my workplace uses hundreds of APC UPS's for desktops and network equipment and they always do the job). Thanks for the link.

I purchased one today... absolutly awesome deal. Just as I picked mine up two other people asked me where it was in the store... one of them was from spoofy. I'm going back tomorrow and buying two more (some friends are coming over so I'll have them do the rebates) if they are still available. Kudos!

I bought 4 thinking my friends might want one, but it looks like I'm just giong to return them. If anyone in the Houston area wants one, you can come by my address at 77005 area. It's $108, and I have the rebate info.

I was able to get one of these Saturday as well. Had to go to three stores, (at one store they held the wrong one for me), but it was well worth it. Our old UPS died a month or so ago, of course it was like 10 years old so I'm not surprised. Thanks for the tip.

This deal is now expired.

Frogger, I don't know if you have any way to get it to PA at a decent price or anything but I'd be interested in taking one off your hands.

Nope. All I know are the commercial shippers, which would run about $35 for what is essentialy a large battery.
