This is a real math problem so don't say that the bus has no legs. If you get the answer type it in white.

ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER?

There are 7 girls on a bus
Each girl has 7 backpacks
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats
For every big cat there are 7 little cats

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?
 
10990, assuming all the cats are in the bus as well

I think it is 1582, 49 x 7 =343 343+49=392 392 x 4 = 1582 +14=1582

o.k. dan got it right, I had 2 different figures and one was like his right one. If it's10990 i had it by 49x7=343 343x7=2401 2401 + 343=2744 2744x 4=10976 10976+14=10990

That's a LOT of cats and there's no bus big enough. I like "a bus has no legs". At least that correct and is possible.
 
Sorry- math was never my strong point- I guess reading and paying attention weren't either!!!
