Arkansas couple welcomes 17th child

"Less than 30 minutes after giving birth, the Duggars already were talking of having more."

WHAT????

"It actually went fast," she said. "I guess once I started progressing, it went within 30 minutes."

Ya think??

Duggars have gone through an estimated 90,000 diapers, and Michelle, 40, has been pregnant for 126 months — or 10.5 years — of her life.

and 0 number of freebie mentioned earlier

I'd like to know a total of hours spent in labor. How many times has she 'pushed'? How many times did she blame him for 'doing this' to her?

I guess they don't know this freebie. :hmmmm2:
-Free Condoms

Maybe someone should send them some. ;)

They wouldn't know about any freebies at all being that they don't have a computer or television. :faint:

My husband and I were watching a show about them just the other night I think they were on the 15th child then so it must have been an older show and they said they don't have computers and television because it takes away from their family time.

I agree with this to an extent. Sometimes here we all get doing our own things (watching tv, on the internet) and dont do enough stuff together. But in my own personal opinion, not having them at all is extreme. I babysat for a family like this once - with no tv - and after the kids went to bed OMG I was SOOOO bored!

I read the article on them and I think it is totally ridiculous. No computer, no television and they are homeschooled. I wonder how adjusted they will be to the real world? Do they plan on sending all their children to college? They don't believe in birth control so I guess they will continue to have more. I think it is completely irresponsible and selfish. What if everyone had 17 children? What really irks me about fundamentalist Christians like these people is they have no consideration for the environment. Just my opinion and now I will get off my soapbox. :yo:

aside from the fact that this is absurb and rediculous, i just feel sorry for the poor kid w/the name Jinger.

...they were about to have their 15th child...

At most, you should replace yourself. Two kids per couple should be an enforced limit. For that matter, the world is already so over populated that maybe one child should be the limit so we can get back to a reasonable number that the earth can support.
