Apparently you pay half the ticket cost to the Web site and forward the ticket details to them. They will analyze the ticket for errors that could lead to a dismissal and then contest the ticket by writing a letter to the city.

Wish I would of known that a yesterday when I paid my parking ticket. But I can't complain to much, because I got it when I went to Grand Rapids for President Ford's funeral.
 
I got a $10 parking ticket once.....I was coming back to my car (it was one of those 'I'll park here and be right back' situations) and he was getting ready to write it up. I sincerely apologized and explained what I was doing.....he went ahead and wrote it up and was really mean to me! And gave me my $10 parking ticket.
 
The Meter Maids here say that once they have put pen to paper (ticket) they are required to complete and issue the ticket, no matter what. They claim they get in trouble if they do not. No amount of begging can change their minds.

if you sift through the board game, monopoly, you can get a free parking pass :p
 
I put an arcade token in one of those latest high tech parking meters & got an hour. They think that its a dollar. Lol.

For instance, judges don't think it's funny when you ask them to hold that thought while you go refresh the meter.
