My husband had a witty thought this evening...

I had just run out to get more glue sticks so we could finish our Valentine's Day projects (mailbox for cards, foam frames for pictures for the grandparents, etc.) I bought a six pack of the glue sticks. So my husband said...


Before Kids... why would anyone need 6 glue sticks?
After Kids... do these come in 12 packs? 6 isn't enough!

I thought it was clever enough to start a humorous thread. Anyone else have any quips?
 
I was standing at the battery display at Sam's club going thru the list in my head of what we needed. You know, AAA's, AA's...these people with a sarcastic tone we're saying "That's ridiculous! Who need's that many batterys!" ..I thought to myself, "You obviously don't have kids!"

Before Kids: Sure I can be at the dentist at 3pm no problem
After Kids: Well I have to call 2 babysitters and leave instructions and fix dinner ahead of time and ....... Would someone just knock the tooth out, it would be less painful LOL

Before kids...I'm not leaving the house without a cute little outfit, nice shoes, hair in place, and at least a quick swipe of lipstick.

After kids...the barf stain on this shirt is barely noticeable, and the black pants really hide their wrinkles so well.

We had chicken for dinner tonight and I was just asking my husband if he remembered when buying the family pack of meat was way too much and now we barley have leftovers. It's amazing how how much a growing teenage boy will eat! :eek:

not sure ?? I've mentioned the kid several times.
 
Before kids...out all night drinking, smoking, playing cards (overall general debauchery)

after kids...asleep by 10:00 PM
