LOOKING FOR THE BEST DEAL ON THIS PRINTER... EBAY SEEMS TO BE GOING FOR AROUD 110.00 PLUS 20 BUCKS SHIPPING

I have this printer right now and I'm planning to return it in favor of a Canon i850. This printer really isn't worth it. The output quality is fairly good but the time it takes to print an 8x10 is horrible. It takes be 8-10 minutes to print a full page of photos at photo quality, the highest setting. It's really pathetic, and if you read reviews, this printer doesn't get great reviews, which I didn't know when looking to buy. I picked mine up at Costco for about $135 I believe, which is the cheapest around. If you have a Costco around you, go pick it up and give it a try, you can always return it (their return policy is great, as everyone knows). I'd recommend spending the extra $25 or so for the Canon i850.

Epsons SUCK

I hate Epsons!

I went back to my Old Canon! :D

But yeah, reason why I dont like my Epson is that it takes too much friggin time to start printing, it has to do so many checks, it prints nicely and fast but errors almost always occur. Then, the printer cartrige runs out EXTREMEly quick! I've had my Epson for less than a year and I've replaced it almost 4 times without printing much. The color set about 2 times and all I normally use it for is documents and papers for school... With my canon, I can go a year with just replacing it once! Im serious...!!

I have a few reasons for getting rid of mine (return to Costco). The number one would be the time it takes to print. CNET says it takes about ten minutes to do an 8x10 but it takes more like 15-20 minutes, and its TOO NOISY. The cartridges run out fairly fast, and I can't get free ink anymore so this is starting to matter. My dad used to be in the office products business. ;) Anyway, the Epson got a mediocre rating when it comes to print quality also and I installed a cheap Canon S330 for a client of mine and I was surprised at how well the $80 printer printed photos. It was easily better than my Epson, so I'm wondering what the $150 i850 can do! It also does do MANY checks such as cleaning the print heads and it just takes too long especially when I turn on the printer in the morning to print a school project I forgot to print the night before. I'm hoping the i850 will be a bit better, and also save me some money on ink since I can't get it anymore.

I got one for $90.28 with free shipping !!
