CA-Computer Associates Rebates, question

I sent three rebates for CA internet security 3 user pack. 2 were for $35 and 1 was for $25. I got email verification that they received 1-$35 and 1-$25 and they have no record of the other. This was last wednesday or thursday. I e-mailed them stating that I sent all of them at the same time. She replied that they have no record of the third.

Two questions:
1. has anyone else sent in multiple rebates (different envelopes) and they have taken a few days separate of each other to "show up" in the system? (My first two showed up one after the other).

2. What is my recourse if it never shows? I have copies of everything and have told this lady that twice in emails and told her I would send a fax with my copies. All she said is wait four weeks for receipt and then 2-3 weeks for it to be sent. (Granted it hasn't been four weeks yet, more like 2.5-3, BUT the other two are received and they were sent with the other one so it should be there too.)

Has happened to me with other rebates. It takes some time for different ones to show up at different times even though you mailed them together, sometimes in the same envelope. if you have the copies and hopefully proof of mailing, I recommend CERTIFICATE OF MAILING that costs 95 cents, you can fax it to their fax number.

This has happened to me - rebates for same product (not only CA products but others as well)mailed same day but not received at clearing house at the same time. Sometimes it has taken well over a week or 2 (maybe longer) for rebates mailed at the same time to be received even though they are going to the same location (just a different offer number). It is not an issue as long as you have copies of what you mailed in.

thanks for your input I'm going to wait it out til Thursday and then call them and see what they want me to do b/c this offer had to be postmarked by 12/27 and I don't want them saying I never sent or I re-submitted AFTER postmark due date.

Just thought I'd update... they never did "receive" my third rebate. After numerous phone calls I finally got a live person and they gave me a re-submission address (even though the six weeks had not passed they agreed that since the other two were received two weeks prior that it was enough time) and today I got verification that it was received after my second submission.

Lesson to all... always make sure you keep copies and keep communication open! I learned the hard way a few years ago with best buy... lost 10 dollars from a rebate they lost and I didn't make copies!
