We are in East Texas and are currently getting wind and rains from the hurricane. The actual eye of the storm in scheduled to hit us around 1pm CST. We are keeping safe and dry.

We are in the panhandle and still got storm surge from Ike but all is well. The water on the beach is all the way up to the road in some parts and there is no "beach" to walk on.
