Does anyone know of a directory to get a persons cell phone #? It seems a lot of people are using cell phones only and I can't look their numbers up!!!!
 
Yes and no....

There are no "free" sites that will provide a reverse look-up to find out who is calling you - there are many sites where you can get this info for a price.

I'm not looking for a reverse look up. I just want to be able to call and get a personal cell phone #. Just like if you were to call information and get a land line phone #.
 
i heard a while back that they were planning on doing a cell phone directory. i havent seen anything yet but it would be nice
 
Because we have to pay for the minutes on our phones, I think having our numbers listed is a BAD idea. if i want you to have my cell number, i'll give it to you, ya know??

Good thing I wasn't looking for your cell phone. But if "you" asked me about a certain someone and they were dating someone else. Would you think it worth your "minutes" to find out that they were available now?
(The person in question did give me their cell phone number but I misplaced it)

As for the cell phone phonebook, I have not seen or heard of anything like it.

Why not just call their home phone, it is easier to find someone by the home phone #
 
They don't have a home phone number.
 
i know someone like that... no home phone, just a cell... if i were you, i'd ask around. someone should know it. do you have any mutual friends?

Not really, we were neighbors. But he moved away.
My friend is asking every day about him. She really wants a chance with him.
 
Nope - no directory

Cell phone numbers are not published, there is no directory.

They are available (if you want to purchase the info).

Just think what would happen if telemarketers got hold of a list.
 
I heard also Sampler that a cell phone directory is coming out. And believe it or not I have received phone calls on my cell phone from telemarketers. :verysad: After that I went to the do not call registry and entered my cell phone number and have not received any calls since.
