I am a customer of verizon wireless fro like 4 years now. I am wondering if I should change it to T-Mobil only because it has more minutes in the same plan as verizon. Does any body have any suggestions on what cell phone company has the best service with good plans. :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

I have Cingular, and i am very pleased with it, where i am located, cingular is the dominant cell phone carrier, they have the best service, all others, such as T-Moble, Verizon, Nextel, Boost, etc. have poor coverage in my area, and primarily they have their towers clost to the highways.

Thats my 2 cents :money:

make sure your new provider has coverage in your area. Cingular and AT&T said they did for me where in fact I recieved a poor signal in my home.

As bubba said, I'd check with friends and family that live near you and see who likes their service. What's the point of having more minutes if you get constant dropped calls or no service messages?

I can tell you that in general, going with T-Mobile will not give you service like Verizon or Cingular.

I know you're interested in price, but it might be something where you get what you pay for. T-Mobile's GSM1900 only network does not work as well especially in big cities as Cingular's GSM850/1900 network. Verizon's network uses CDMA which has a nice deployment, but the lack of the 850 band on T-Mobile will hurt you.

If you're looking to switch, I'd recommend Cingular. I've been with them forever under an AT&T Wireless account, and I'm very pleased with my coverage.

I am here in NY and everybody thinks verizon is the best in this area. But i dont know if its just my phone but it wont work in certain areas. Even though I have the new LG camera phone. I think I will consider switching to cingular as Erik said. Thank you all for your suggestions. :D :D

When I lived in NY Verizon was the BEST!! You may want to consider trying them with a new phone and take advantage of their 15 day (??) return policy (if they still have it). Then if that doesn't work go check out Cingular.

You can also try updating your phone if you haven't recently (*228?).
