Deal goes like this:

Start off with a $25 off $100 linky for officemax. I can't remember where I found mine, on a deal site somewhere, use google you'll find something.

Add Cendyne Burner - $60 with $30 rebate
Add Belkin 50pk slimline Jewel Cases - $5 with $ rebate
Add Khypermedia 50pk CDR - $11 with $7 manufacturer's rebate and $4 officemax rebate, COPY of upc IS stated as acceptable for officemax rebate in the form.
Add Belkin Surge Protector - $5 with $5 rebate
Add Belkin PCI NIC - $5 with $5 rebate
Add Endust duster twinpack - $5 with $5 rebate
Add cyber acoustics 2 piece speakers - $9 with $9 rebate
Add some paperclips, anything worth more than 1 cent to get order over 100.

Total is 75 + tax with $70 rebates. Optionally, you could add the cyber acoustics lapel microphone which is $4 with a $4.99 rebate. You actually make a buck. You also get 50 cases for your 50 cdrs :D

For me, I got this all including the microphone for $83.72 shipped and I'll get $75 in rebates, so $8.32 total. A LOT of these items are having special instant rebates, hence a price of like $5 for the belkin nic. If anything's interested, it uses a realtek chipset, same that most of your d-link nics use. I've always had good fortune with this chipset and driver support ranges from 95-XP and probably linux and all that as well.

Ive looked all over for a 25 off 100 but i can only seem to find 30 off 150 can you help me

found 20 off 100...The ones on spoofee dont seem to work, including the ones on the frontpage

Some of the prices rose on items like the duster and surge protector.

Not too bad a price though

Could you tell me the promo code for the $25 off $100? The best I can find is $20 off $100

EDIT: Nevermind about the first part, managed to find the product, heh... Still looking for promo code

The $25 coupon is located on the officemax.com web site itself.

Lol, this is sad...

I cant take coupons from click.linksynergy.com... I originally thought it was my ISP's DNS server or something, because those domains resolve to localhost when using nslookup.

I tried this on my linux server, and it worked fine

Way too many rebate:p
Need at least three months to get all of them back.

Damn this sucks, Officemax doesnt deliver 1 Day free in San Diego.

Well, it's all a matter of how much time you want to put into it. How much time you want to put into anything really. Just like when I was doing leaves today, and decided "screw it, good enough" eventually. To me, it's a way to get a burner and a bunch of free stuff. Free jewel cases for all those cdrs I buy, free cdrs for someone I know who needs some, free surge protector and actually I do need to replace one I have that must be 10 years old that my tv and vcr plug into. Free NIC to drop into another friend's PC so she can transfer files with her laptop which has a built in 10/100 port. For me, most of it actually has a practical use. So, I don't mind getting it all for free.

One could always create their own deal. They could lop off the speakers and the compressed air, and maybe get something worth $14 bucks that they actually need such as printer paper, paper for their copier, security envelopes for mailing all them monthly checks to the bill collectors, and so on. Tis requires a little imagination is all :D

To me, a free nic, surge protector, jewel cases, and cdrs, well I dig it, and I can actually use the junk.

Likewise, they could just screw it all together and buy the burner for $60 and send in the rebate and get it for 29.99. The K-Byte 128 MB memory modules are having a $10 IR + $10 manufacturer's MIR + $10 officemax MIR, so you get the ram for $10 bucks AR.

That and the burner is 90 bucks, throw in the cdrs and voila, nice little deal.

Here, try this package then

Start off with $25 off $100

Add Cendyne Burner = 60
Add K-Byte 128MB pc133 dimm = 30
Add khypermedia cdrs = 11

101 - 25 for coupon = 76

- $30 rebate on burner
- $11 rebates on cdrs
- $20 rebates on memory
--------
- $61

So for $15 bucks, you get a burner, 128 megs of pc133, and 50 cdrs. If ya want the jewel cases for free or the NIC, throw that on the lot, hell, you could just plain not get the 50 pack of cdrs, maybe you've got a gazillion already, so snag the jewel cases + the NIC instead and some paper clips.

100-25-30-20-5-5

$15 bucks for a burner, ram, quality NIC, and jewel cases. AND paper clips!

..and less rebates ;)

Price match problem...

Anyone else get this when attempting to get a price match on the $15 off $50...

Dear OfficeMax.com Customer:

Thank you for your recent inquiry. I need you to fax over a physical copy of the coupon to 1-800-782-0421 or forward the email from the competitor that you received. I apologize for any inconvenience this has been for you. Thank you for your interest in OfficeMax.com.

Has anyone received an email from office depot for the $15 off $50 if so could you post the email including the header here. I could doctor it up for officemax. Thanks

staples $30 off $100

There is a staples coupon for $30 off of $100. U can pricematch it wit omax.com.
The coupon code is 61884.maybe this helps u all

Thanks but wont help

The $10 off $50 coupon says for instore only and I ordered over the web so they probably will not honor it. Thanks anyway

Office Depot doesn't even carry the Cendyne CD-recorder! I got an email asking for the Office Depot URL for the Cendyne Recorder. I can't give them one because they don't carry it. I would suggest you take the instructions off the home page since this doesn't work!

It does not matter if office depot carries the cendyne burner, as you aren't asking for a price match for that, or any specific item. Officemax accepts competitor's coupons. I've called 3 times on different occassions to confirm this.

From Officemax's website under customer help:

For price matches from a competitor's Internet site please click here and fill out the e-mail template provided. For price matches from print ads please fax your request, including contact information plus a copy of the ad to 1-800-706-9286, in large block letters write PRICE MATCH across the first page. In addition, OfficeMax.com will honor coupons from other office product superstores. Please call 1-800-283-7674 for complete details.

It's the "in addition" part that is key, they accept coupons from other office product superstores. However, I personally think for this to work you'd need to do it in store, and use a printable $15 off $50 office depot coupon. They are supposed to take that coupon and treat it as just that, a coupon. What you want to apply that coupon towards should not matter, you can use it to get $15 off $50 worth of paperclips. :D

There is a $15 off $50 coupon that is good online, so if you bought online at officemax they should pricematch the office depot coupon and give you $15 back on your ccard. Call the number they provide, and if they want you to fax something, fine, fax it. A fax is a lot faster than a mail in rebate to get 15 bucks back. You just gotta get this straight, you aren't requesting a pricematch on the burner, you are requesting a price match of the *coupon*. If you ask for a pricematch of the wrong thing, don't expect a CSR to know what you really mean. :(

Like I said, what you wish to use that coupon for is of no regard. I could use it to buy $50 bucks worth of sharpies at office depot, and likewise, officemax is supposed to honor office depot coupons so I should be able to walk into an omax store with an office depot coupon and get $15 off $50 worth of sharpies in omax as well.

I honestly don't know if you can get a pricematch for a coupon for an online purchase, and get it retroactively applied? I'd do it in stores. I like my burner + ram + cdrs for $15 way better, no csr pricematching stuff ;)

No luck

I tried to use the $10 off $50 officemax coupon but as I suspected the CSR rejected it since it is for instore only. I guess what I need to do is get a copy of the 'coupon' from office depot for $15 off $50 and fax it to them or at least forward them an email from office depot or a referral partner with the link in it for the $15 off $50. Problem is I do not have either.

Office Max will NOT honor the coupon for me. I faxed the link and the actual coupon. Then I called them. No Go. They say those were mailed to certain customers and they want a copy of the actual email, Sooooo... I cancelled the order. Good try though.

Office price match very hard to get!

Now I am getting this response from officemax...

Dear OfficeMax.com Customer:

Thank you for your recent inquiry. Unfortunately I am unable to process your
request because that item is only available through the techdepot site and
the coupon is not valid for that purchase. I apologize for any inconvenience
this has been for you. Thank you for your interest in OfficeMax.com.

Sincerely,
Rhonda

It is obvious to me now that the CSR are under orders to shoot down as many price match requests as they can. They must be working on an incentive basis for this because they wont budge!
