I'm looking for a good deal on a Queen or King mattress and foundation set. I'm looking for a decent name brand bed that would be good for fulltime use for around a year and then occaional use in a guest room. I am currently looking at Sams Club Northstar Arbor Moon Queen set for a little under $500 and would like to find some comparable/better deals. Thanks.

Good luck. Before xmas we went looking to upgrade to a King size. Not going 'top of the line', just a decent, comfortable bed......800-mattres*.....over $2k (and that was a sale). Not sure what you'll get for $500.

We recently bought our sons twin mattresses for their bunk bed (no boxspring) from BJ's (after shopping around and they were the least expensive) and they were $90 each. I repeat, not sure what you'll get for $500.

*btw, before I get corrected for a 'spelling' error - the store's name is '800-mattres' - 'you leave the last 's' off for 'savings' '

P.S. You also didn't say where you are (general local).:)

costco has some decent deals. not sure exactly what they have, but we bought ours there and it was like 1000 for a king set but it was the second best they offered (first best was super firm and i'm a pillowtop, sink into it kind of girl :p)

*edit* just checked costco online and they have a sealy queen mattress for 549, king for 699: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Productgroup.aspx?Prodid=11109536&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=

also, mattress "superstores" ALWAYS have sales going. they might have some of the imperfect ones for super cheap- the material on it will be mismatched, but it'll serve its purpose.
