Chicago in April and golf

What is the weather like in Chicago - late April?

I will be visiting this fair city for a week at the end of April and am thinking about bringing my golf clubs. I have a business conference and know I won't be able to sit all day.

Part 2 - What are some good, public courses I should investigate?

So many things to do -

and so little time.

It's looking like I may have to figure a way to ditch my business conference, get Jerry to be my caddy, Oprah for the Drink Cart and work in a Cubs game.
