Any suggestions how I can overcome my addiction to chocolates?:eek:

Make brownies using a lot of salt and spoiled eggs, then eat it. Once you are done throwing up i'm sure you won't want it anymore. ;)
* I'm only half joking*

have someone eat chocolate, go back to them an hour later and smell their breath

but garlic and onions always gets the bad rap

Whatever dehawk suggests....

don't do it.;)

but BD is not here

can you really replace chocolate with orange chicken?

yeah, it would then be s**t-brown chicken

I was told by a doctor a few years back that I HAD to give up caffiene,and chocolate is the ONLY caffiene containing food that I was NOT able to give up.I was able to give up my tea which I used to drink every waking moment but the chocolate no way.

Chocolate does not contain Caffeine, but it does contain a lot of sugar & milk if its milk chocolate. Also a whopping 5.82% Serotonin!

"There is no scientific substantiation that Chocolate contains caffeine, and a great deal of evidence that it does not. The Biochemist, (Apr/May 1993, p 15) did chemical composition tests where they specifically distinguished between Caffeine and Theobromine. They found regularly up to 1.3% by weight Theobromine in Chocolate. They also found other pharmacologically active compounds including up to 2.20% Phenylethylamine up to 1.54% Tele- methylhistamine and occasionally up to 5.82% Serotonin. They could not detect any Caffeine at all. (Full results are on the Science Page.) I have yet to see a dependable chemical reference that includes Caffeine in Chocolate. (The Merck Index, 12th Edition says that a very small amount of Caffeine is found in the hulls of of the Cacao seeds, the hulls are discarded before processing.)

People seem to assume that caffeine is the only stimulant. Theobromine clearly has stimulant properties, so people reflexively attribute those effects to caffeine -- even though many of the effects are fundamentally different from caffeine. I guess they think it is easier to just say it is caffeine. I believe that many people casually refer to caffeine, when they really mean a whole class of chemicals called xanthines, of which caffeine is but one example. This is roughly equivalent to calling apes, human, because both are primates and humans are the more familiar type primate. Both are primates, but the differences are pretty obvious. "

eat it all day long till you can't stand it anymore or it makes you sick. that will do it

I've heard that any craving can be handled with vitamin "C". It could give you the runs when you have enough but then just cut back some. You can't OD on "C". You might also buy raw almonds (they are about $15.00 for 3 lbs at Costco). Just munch them all the time. I eat then for protein when I get on a vegetarian kick but they are high in fat. Make sure you masticate them well. They can make your jaw tired at first. hiyouall's suggestion is good too.

if you eat almonds all the time, you are going to get fat. each contains alot of energy. try this, get a paperclip and straighten it out. stick the tip of it through an almond. go outside and light the almond on fire while holding the paperclip, and see how bright and how long it burns, you will be amazed at the amount of energy in one almond. you can do this with a peanut too.
This is not an endorsement to play with fire. Children under 18 should refrain from performing this exercise. Fire retardents should be readily available.
