Kensginton rebates are a scam. Last time I did everything correctly and it was denied. Never had a problem with any other rebates but Kensington's. Not recommended.

Thanks Spoofee! Good deal. I picked one up yesterday at Circuit City. It is an In-Store deal only, and it is unadvertised. The price still showed 49.99 at the store but it was only 16.99 upon checkout. I printed out the rebate form from circuitcity.com for the $10 rebate, and everything should be good (hopefully I won't have any applepielicious issues with the rebate).

It's a nice bag and very comfortable, and well worth the 6.99.

I second for *stay away* from Kensington's rebate. Last time I am very sure I did everything right and submitted before the expired date. It came back first saying it was submitted outside the valid date; plus I noticed they returned with a different promotion number (which has much less rebate ~$9 instead of ~$30). I called and point out their mistake they asked me to resubmit. I did. This time it was OK but then it is only validated with the incorrect rebate value (~$9). I called again (and had to talk to rep for a while then she agreed to check with a supervisor). She replied said it will split to two checks with the second one of the remaining amount. It never did. I called again, and they said there is no record for my previous call. I asked to talk to manager, and have no use. He just insisted there is no record for that so nothing he can do. He told me to fax the forms again to a fax number he gave me. I never heard from then again. I also found quite a few lot of situations like this for Kensington's rebate on the web (saying the rebate was submitted outside the valid date). I would never buy Kensington again, no matter how good the deal is.
