Co-Payment Relief for seriously ill insured pateints who can't pay their Co-pays

This is a free program through the Patient Advocate Foundation that seeks to help any patients who have insurance but are faced with mounting Co-Pays they cannot afford for treatment that is medically necessary. The article I read about this was in a Cancer Patient magazine, but it isn't limited to a diagnosis of cancer. The pateint Advocate Foundation has formed a separate organization now just to help paitents deal with mounting Co-Pays. it's free and it's sponsored by Pharmaceutical companies.

Just wanted to let people know that if you have Medicare and find it hard to pay the premiums & co pays, you can check w/your local food stamp office and ask speak to a medical worker. Depending on your financial situation, you may qualify for an adult medical case or medicaid.
