This sounds great! Coincidentally, I was at a Shiseido counter the other night at Macy's getting a skincare sample (think it was a blurb from Lucky Mag.), and the counter girl was so nice. It was getting close to closing, and I was more or less keeping her company as she was counting down the minutes. She gave me a few samples (which are quite rare in my experience at their counter). When I was getting ready to leave, she stepped away and came back with a really cute cosmetics pouch w/place for cellphone--she just handed it to me! It was wrapped in plastic w/a barcode on it. When I got home and opened it, I found cleanser, toner and eye cream inside, too! I'll definitely go back to that counter.

Wow...that is so cool, Pat! I have had some luck w/ samples at various cosmetic counters, but nothing to that extent! I am very excited about this one....I hear their products are very good, but I have never tried them. When you were there getting your samples, did you have to get a consultation?

I have a ton of cosmetic samples from many different companies, and I use them as needed. I will probably not have to buy much of anything for at least ten years. But Shiseido is one company I rarely luck out with. I have had a few things here and there, however, and love their stuff--last thing I had was a small jar of night cream, and it was just lovely. I printed out the offer, but it won't be until April. Signed up on their site, too. Thanks for the great post!

PS: No consultation--wasn't required, and even when it is, I just tell them I don't need one--I then proceed to explain all their products to them!

Unbelievable...you should give classes on how to procure cosmetic samples! LOL It's good to know that their products are good and the salespeople are nice.....yours was extremely nice! Also, good to know that you don't have to go through a consultation. Thanks for the great tips...I will make sure to use them.
