I was wondering if you could use any power cord/cable to connect from a power supply to a standard outlet. I have a PowerMac w/o a cable, but have a cable from my old Dell tower. Can I use this, or will it fry my power supply? THANK YOU!!

The polarity, voltage, and amps have to be correct in addition to the plug size. Otherwise you can fry the computer and/or power supply.

My husband says it will work if it's just a cord with 2 ends. But if it has a "brick" then you have to check voltage and polarity.
