(Sold Out?) Costco - Apple iPod Mini 4GB MP3 Player for $149.99

Costco has the 4GB Apple iPod mini for only $149.99!

Comes in 3 colors - blue, pink, and green

Update : The item is no longer available online. Please try your in-stores.

Web site appears to be out of Silver... better try the store. I would look a little funny carrying around a pink one. One might call me a Girly-man.

ya know, Before I visited spoofee today, i said to myself " Thats it, If theres a deal today on ipods, I am going to get one"

Well guess what, theres a deal on them. heh... dang.. I need money

The green looks really nice. My friend has one and it.. well.. looks really nice. Doi! But I think the colors are better on the earlier model mini than the new ones. The new ones look oversaturated or something.

it's really good price but i like zen micro more.
My friend has a Zen Micro and he really likes it, but he's now in the process of filing his second RMA, the thing keeps breaking. I don't know if it's his luck or what.. because he keeps it protected in the little pouch at all times, and he's easy on it.

I agree that the green is pretty cool.

just an update...

I purchased the Green one and also got the Mini Itrip FM transmitter.

Because I am not a costco member, I had to pay a 5 percent surcharge.

My total after shipping and taxes and all came to 213.25

thanks spoofee!

iPods dont seem any better, really. Mine broke within a couple of months (fried it with a bad charger, not their fault) and got a replacement. The second one broke recently after just a couple of months. I took it to Best Buy (have their service plan) and the really hot girl behind the counter told me that they have iPods coming in left and right displaying the 'file of death' icon. I kept mine in a skin since day one and never even removed the plastic from the clickwheel. Just shows to go you, i guess.

Yeah, I'm not saying iPods are the best either. I had a Dell DJ15 a while ago and really liked it. Had it for almost a year and sold it for what I paid for it.

I switched to the iPod just because I use an Apple computer and the synchroization between the two is really nice. Also, I like the vast number of accessories available for the iPod.

I left my Creative Zen Xtra 40gb jukebox on a plane a couple of weeks back.

I was going to replace it with a smaller unit - either the iPod or the Zen Micro.

The function I liked best about the Zen units is the capability to use the Micro as a USB hard drive. That is, you can "drag and drop" files to (AND from) it using Windows Explorer, once you've installed the correct drivers.

Does the iPod have that same functionality to pull data OFF of it?

The answer is yes. You can use them as any USB2.0/Firewire hard drive in Windows explorer, drag-and-drop functionality and all.

I don't know why there's such a craze over Ipods with everyone.... If you guys want a reliable player with COLOR screen, slick, sturdy with great reviews, you should consider Iriver players :o

Even the older model H320 (do a search on it) beats the cr*p aout of popular, cliche-now Ipod. Don't take my word for it, check out tomshardware.com reviews ;)

I agree! iPods are just status symbols for some odd and sad reason. The ironic thing is that several iPod users were getting picked out by thiefs in Manhattan a little while ago just because the thieves saw the white headphones.

Only a $20 difference between the 6 and 20 gig models? Thats crazy!

yep, that makes the 20GB version very cheap....no, wait, isn't the 6GB more expensive then?

Seriously, though, if you want and can get your hands on older Iriver H320, either 20 or 40GB or even this new, H10 one, you'll be happy. Besides, you'll stand out from the "white-headphones-look-at-me-i'm-so-cool" teenage crowd. I'm just going to wait for holiday sales... ;)

I already stand out, cause Im so cute. But I dont use the white headphones.. People be gettin blasted and shiznit for iPods. I may check into it at the store where I can maybe do a hands-on inspection before making a decision. I have a 30GB iPod, and just wanted something with a smaller form factor.

COSTCO cancelled my order.. damn them! anyone else have this problem?
