I bought this card thinking I could upgrade my Audigy 1 and still use the same front input/output drive panel that came with my Audigy 1. Unfortunately, the Audigy 2's pin configuration for the drive's cable was different. The pin gap on the Audigy 2 card is opposite of the Audigy 1 (you'd have to flip the cable to make it fit, then pins 0/1 are on the wrong end). So I returned it and went back to my Audigy 1.

Even though the front drive panels of each look exactly the same, I'm sure the Audigy 2's support for one more channel has something to do with the change. I need the front drive panel, so an upgrade to the Audigy 2 isn't worth the added extra cost for the ZS Platinum version.
