what is the feeling on this music/video player? how does everyone like it?

I was about to buy this unit until I saw how thick it was at Frys Electronics. It was about twice the thickness of an iPod video.

My daughter first thought she wanted an IPOD, but after seeing and hearing the ZEN, and reading countless reviews on the web she decided on this one.

We were finally able to find a nice manager to let her actually "play" with an open box ZEN and that sealed the deal. Compared to the IPOD she said it was superior. Granted it's not as sleek as an IPOD but the other attributes outweigh this. The sound and the screen resolution and colors, just to name two she feels are superior to the IPOD.

She also liked that it has a built in recorder which she uses for her voice lessons at college.

She's had one problem with it, it froze, which she was able to undo by pushing the reset button without losing anything on the unit.

So far, she's extremely happy she bought this model. Even my son who has a 30gb Ipod Video thought it was better.
