The coupon they e-mailed me beeped last night, but they did push it through. That's because I told the cashier the truth--it really came to me in an e-mail. She knows me and trusts my word. I will be calling Customer Service about this, as it is a pain in the neck. This lip balm coupon beeped also, and I told her I did not get it in my e-mail, so she took the item off my order and I could not use the coupon. I must have ten lip balms stashed away anyway, so no big deal.
The changes at CVS are to prevent every customer from getting their hands on every single coupon in existence--and then using all of them, sometimes multiple times. (Those were the good old days!) Now, they are linked by data base to cards, and some are limited to one use. My CVS shopping has been drastically reduced accordingly.
