Isn't Tiger Direct the site that's not very good with honoring the rebates?

d-link rebates

Isn't Tiger Direct the site that's not very good with honoring the rebates?

these are actually rebates from the manufacturer, but d-link take their
pretty time to input the rebate into the system. and if you don't see it
within 6 weeks, they'll ask you to resubmit by fax.
so they just prolong the agony, but they did get one of my rebates and inputted into the system pretty quick but took about 6 weeks just to mail it.

so i suppose that's better then Tiger Direct rebates.

good luck!

Anything and everything is better than Tiger Direct rebate program.

Warning: Rebate is a legal scam.
Company expect 40% min unpaid rebates!
Now you know why you see 3 different rebate forms for same items and all by mail i.e no proof unless you send by register mail!

I am waiting for my D-Link rebate since two months. I already got one rejection letter so I had to send the documents again to prove otherwise and pray and wait!

wow, that's a lot of rebates...

or you can get a D-Link WBR-2310 for $44.99 in BestBuy - $15.00 rebate on D-Link's website, which is like $29.99 + tax.

Better deal at New Egg

Similar deal at NewEgg but no software--$20 but just one $25 MIR. I just had my DI-514 die on me after nearly 2 yrs of faithful service. With poor reviews and my recent loss decided to order a Linky WRT54GL; a little pricier but wanted to try something different. Had a wired Linky for many, many years now and it's stepped for the one that just bit the dust; not as configurable as DI514 so opted for "L" to try out other firmware (e.g. DD-WRT?). Happy shopping ... but with what now that holidays and Google Checkout are so recently behind us?!
