hmm it uses AAA batteries... i dislike non-lithium batteries...
 
9-11 hours per 1 AAA battery. if that isn't enough for u then try rechrageable ni-mh batteries. Lithium batteries are not necessary. Pretty pricey for lithiums.
 
Shipping Charges

Unless I did something incorrectly, I ended up having to pay for shipping. Total item shipped was $75.43. Still.....not a bad deal!

When u checked out, u had around 4 -5 choices for shipping. I should have spent the extra 5 bucks for the quicker shipping. I'm waiting so impatiently for it :( the slower shipping was free.
 
On the battery issue.. Energizer now makes their e2 Lithium batteries in AAA size as well as AA and a couple other camera style sizes.. I enjoyed them when they first came out 10+ years ago, and am glad their back cuz they kick butt. :D

Any one got theirs yet? I contacted buy.com and they said that this item is backordered. I've also read some reviews about buy.com, and buy.com is the worst place to buy online.

I wouldn't worry about the battery issue. I have a similiar MP3 player which uses a single battery, it lasts forever.

Plus batteries are usually cheap or free. Get 4 for $1 at the dollar stores or get those 20 packs for (nearly) FAR from Circuit City.
