Almost like a hot deal, but for a good cause! :D

Their site for this is TOAST! This is for men's AND women's shoes btw. I finally sorta got thru and saw the size selection screen.

Edit: 11:45 AM MST - Just finished the process, took me a total of 2 hours, lol. I could have driven to the outlet store and bought some by now for maybe 10 bucks more, hehe. Oh well, it's for a good cause!

their site totally S**CKS.........I have been trying since 10am and NOTHING!!! I called Reebok Customer Service - what a JOKE!! They know absolutely nothing. All they can say is "the site is designed to handle only a certain number of users at one time" - yeah, no S^*T, sherlock!

Doesn't say much for Reebok... Some humanitarian promotion...Woohoo... I wonder if ANYONE got through. I tried for over an hour and nothing. And the link from their email doesn't work. If you're gonna run a promotion then set up your site to take the hits. Idiots!!!

I finally got through at 1:00 am. Site is soooooo slow. Took 2 hours for the process. I hope it doesn't take a year to get the sneakers. Oh well... :claps:

I got through, took me a good 2 hrs tho as I was playing a game on the other comp. Their site behavior seems different now than when I tried earlier though. GOOD LUCK LOL

I tried around 10 am and again at noon. It was just nuts. I was able to get through at 8:30 pm. They were up to $188,000 out of their $1 million total giveaway, so they still have a lot of shoes left.

I got my order in... took awhile, but I kept stop the page from loading then reloading it... Good Luck.

Try this link and bypass the loading page...

I finally got through. I went to the page that keep reloading and sat there. Actually I forgot about it and I came back about 15 mins later and it had loaded to the page. I ordered a pair of shoes, but the site is VERY slow.

Free Reeboks with $25 donation to American Heart Association

This promo probably isn't going to last very long. Reebok will give away up to $1 million worth of shoes. The promo just started on April 30. Here's where they're currently at:

Current retail value contributed by Reebok:
$382,845.3

One per household. The site is v e r y s l o w...

Reebok shoes

Good luck :)

Sorry for putting my post in the wrong place.

I did mine *late* at night and didn't have much of a problem.

The link I included is to the secure server, btw. I couldn't get to that from the proper AHA page...I had to come through the Reebok page, which is why I included the direct link to the secure page in my post above. :)

Had some trouble, too. Finally got connected but then accidentally added two pairs of shoes to my shopping cart. Then I had to remove one, and it only allowed me to remove both. Couldn't get back to the home page so I had to start all over. Make sure you only hit ADD TO CART ONCE.

Added one to my cart, hit CHECKOUT, waited forever. It then told me I had nothing in my cart. AARRGGHH. Tried one more time and it did it again. Finally gave up.

Current retail value contributed by Reebok:
$556,770.45

Total donations to American Heart Association:
$198,875

P.S. I think there are mens' sizes available as well. And there are wides too!

:D Just like everyone else has said, it takes some time but if your patient you'll get the shoes. It took me about 5 hours.

Finally got in around 6:30am Saturday morning.........I was away at my in-laws (they have not joined the 21st century yet, so I had to bring my laptop with me) and got in without any problems. Only thing was - I had to use AOL and D I A L U P ..ugghh!

Irony

It just seems kind of funny to me that by doing this, the American Heart Association will only make $357,193.88, but they're giving away $1,000,000 worth of shoes. Would it not be a better cause to just give the million straight to the Heart Association? But then again, I guess all the Vietnamese and 3rd World country slaves of Reebok make the shoes only cost Reebok about $1.00 per pair, so that's better for them. While helping the heart association, we're creating international poverty. What a screwed up system.

Dude first let me say that i do now work for reebock and secondly i have alot of experience with 3rd world countries. If it werent for reebock the so called " slaves " would prob be starving or becoming sex slaves or working for even lower wages somewhere else. Yes i know its hard to comprehend but u have millions of people who have to rely on everyday wages to provide food for themselves that way. I know its a visious cycle because they can never get out of that prediciment because education is not an option because they will starve. So even though i know Reebock isint doing anyone and favours it would be unfare to call them slave lords because atleast they are providing labour there.:) Dehawk

Got the shoes yesterday and my wife loves them. They are good looking shoes. :D

Got mine also, there awesome. Not sure it was worth the 15 tries and countless hours it took me to get them, but hey I did a good deed at the same time. :-)

Coutless hours? I think it took me 15 mins to get into the site and 5 to put the order in for the shoes. :D

Kage, I can't believe the shoes came already!! It's been less than a month since the promo, and the site said it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. How were they delivered - US Mail, UPS, or FedEx? Let me know so I can be on the lookout for mine!!
