I signed up for the deal...I guess I need a little help figuring out where to buy that roll of net stamps. I'm in their software, Is it the holiday set of stamps with 5 different designs....125 labels...4.99?

edit-
**I also see one set of their original net stamps for 3.99....I take it I can buy any of these rolls....print out up to my 50 dollar limit before the 29 day trial ends...and still be able to use the stamps in the future. Have I figured this out correctly?**

Hi MrPsychoGreaser, Yes! Sorry about the front page error. You are correct, you can purchase a 125 sheet of the $3.99 or the $4.99 one. Yes, once printed, the stamps can be used after your cancellation of service.

Free Postage

I was just wondering, I read the terms and conditions it looks like once you cancel the stamps become void. Am I reading this wrong or can you still use the stamps you have printed out also you have to return the scale or they charge you $50.00. Great site keep up the good work.
Thanks for your input.

Returning the scale

Just a warning:
If you cancel the service during the trial period, it says something about returing the scale plus s/h. OR if you keep it for one billing cycle ($15.99) the scale is yours to keep.

My question: how much do they charge you for the scale if you cancel during the trial period?

(I'm a little pissed that they say its a $50 scale but they sell it for $39.99! I will remember that as I use the $50 in stamps I got for $5.49!!! ($3.99 +s/h))

So the deal is worth
$50 - $5.49 - $15.99 = $28.52 in free stamps.

Looks like deal is dead.... I just got this email... anyone else?

Same email here...

I can't stand it when offers are retracted. Jerks...

it wasnt retracted

it was a special offer not for the entire public at large, Take your FREE $20 in postage and be happy

$25 offer

Found that if you do a google search for stamps online you get a link at the top to www.stamps.com that will give $25 in free stamps

Re: Same email here...

Jerks? Correction. The offer wasn't retracted. There was no offer for people that didn't attend the Microsoft event. People were abusing the system.

My account remains active, with $50.00 of free postage credited to it. Just ordered the net stamps. Amen.

What a hassle!

OK, I signed up for that. Let me tell you something. If you have to pay 37 cents for a stamp and also for the cost of the stickers and the postage, why would you use that kind of service? I signed up coz it would be a lot cheaper than going to a post office. But they canceled my account after I ordered those now-useless stickers. Now looks like I am gonna end up with those stupid things. Oh I hate it. I can return them but it will end up costing me the same. Gee!

No one was abusing the system. They should told us on the web page is that this deal is not for everyone. I didnt see anything like that. They could have used some sort of promo code easily. I say it is the stamps.com that abused the system.

Oh NO!!! There was NOTHING on the site. It didn't even match the Microsoft deal that I saw which was a staged $50 credit. I went in and out making sure it was legit.

I bought labels and started the process. A day late I get the "you're a crook..." email. I canceled the account and did get a final accounting. Friday night I get a "we can't cancel your account via email, call 888......".

I called yesterday and was told the account was closed and they didn't understand why I got the email! Absolutely incompetent boobs. There were many ways to handle this and they chose the worst.

sm

PS For those interested - the Endicia software is far superior and the private insurance much cheaper (except the initial cost).

um

The first time you used the Spoofee link, it dropped a cookie in your computer folder making the site always look like it was a $50 offer.

You would have to delete your cookie and then go back to the site to see what the site was supposed to look like to the common public.

A poor implementation on their part. Geez get a clue and stop bitchin about something that cost you nothing for pete's sake.

Maybe your time is worth nothing, but I spent a LOT of time unwinding this and more time completing a mailing that I had depended on.

Please keep your nasty, impertinent comments to yourself!!

These kind of comments do not belong here. There is no reason for this. So please stop!
