Just a note that in a couple minutes, the rumor is that Woot (one of my favorite sites) will be running a Woot-Off tonight into tomorrow.

If you don't know what a Woot-Off is, or you don't know what Woot is, please read here. http://www.woot.com/wootinfo.aspx

A Woot-Off is a day that they have once in a while where they sell everything that didn't sell in previous days at even lower prices than normal (their prices are close to wholesale).

Just wanted to spread the word to Spoofee as well.

Too bad I don't have a PS2, those controllers look great. I'd get a few.

(woot-off)
mad ape den: All you put on "wot(oop sub an "oo")-off" can be but 3. Be new to mad-ape-den(as me). Put all you can in a go at the big one. Get at thy pad the hot new win.

(Thanks, erik. woot's a hoot!)

hey erick, right now they have another wristnet watch for 69.99, it is the dick trace, looks pretty nice, but i think the other was still a better deal.

For all you gadget lovers--here comes the smart watch. The Wrist Net watch with MSN Direct receives information wirelessly, so you’re in the know while on the go. Find everything from stock quotes to the latest news, all at a glance. Along with a seamless connection to your world, there are tons of watch faces to choose from, for just the look you want. Set-up is easy: simply charge up, activate your watch online, and set up the content channels you want. A subscription to MSN Direct--available in over 100 metropolitan areas in the U.S. and Canada--is required to take advantage of many watch features.

Some Wooters may remember this item's November debut , but this time we're throwing in a one year subscription (a $40 value). In addition to the included one year subscription, the Wrist Net watch also features out of the box functionality without any additional fees.

I thought it was $29 at tigerdirect for a refurb watch?

it was at tiger direct, that deal ended though. this one is on woot as we speak.

i failed to read that it came with one year of service. that makes that a really good deal.

It was, but that one is sold out. Now this one, different from the last one is being offered here with a free $40 MSN subscription.

looks like the wootoff is done or they had a thousand watches that no one wants. it s still the watch.

i gave up on the woot off last night at 4am when no one was buying a cordless phone :(

If you follow the progress bar at the bottom, you can tell how close they are to selling out... When the purple bar is gone, so is the product.

yup, and for the panasonic 2.4ghz cordless it moved like 3% in 20 minutes so i gave up hope :(

Definitely the TigerDirect Abacus is a better deal. It cost $80 total for me including my year of service, and it's a much more sleek nice watch. I don't like that whole Dick Tracey branding crap. I think this watch was $50 before on Woot without the one year service voucher.

Yeah, wow, funny. I just got out of school and I'm in the library and it sells out just in time. Can't wait to see what the next item is.

Ahh, that stupid fingerprint thing. Hopefully this will go quick.

it's kind of cool and it is usually like 50 bucks, but i cant justify paying for that, it looks like it is going pretty quick though, my wife would hit me.

Woot-Off's over now. That was one of the more vigorous 24 hours I've been through. I was up/on the computer for about 90% of the items.

Dont think I ever hit the refresh button so many times in so short a time.
