This is a nice deal just for the fact that the video card and the processor itself go for almost as much as this system is. Is the Dell 4600 easy to upgrade? Like adding a decent soundcard and some better CD-ROM technology?

The Dimension 4600 is the step below their more high-end 8300, so I believe that it will be as upgradable as a normal tower. My friend has a Dell 4550 and it seems to be upgradable perfectly. I'm not a Dell person though.

The only difference is that the PRO has a slightly higher clock speed, which shouldn't matter that much. I hope this helps you out!
