The inspiron 1000 is a ultra low end model, that's why I didn't include that with my post yesterday. Honestly, get something like a 600m or a 700m if you're looking for a cheap computer.

I disagree with Inu_Yasha on the fact that Inu_Yasha classified the dell 700m a cheap notebook. It's sort of a ultra portable notebook, because it only weighs 4.1 Lb,which is an excellent choice for road warriors. It is actually a powerful business notebook when you take the 1GB HDD, DVD burner and 8 cell battery options. The 700m is not a desktop replacement, like the Inspirion 9300. I have used the 750 coupon code provided by our members on 4/21 to purchase the 700m and have no regret going from a 15.4" to a 12.1 " notebook.
