What the? That's NOT a deal! That's the highest price Dell puts on that notebook... here are 'normal' prices that are $100 LOWER for a comperable notebook from Dell.

As a tech, I would recommend against going with Celeron; It is both slow and will drag down your system. I would recommend investing a tad bit more and upgrade to either a core duo or core 2 duo (if possible).

Not the worst, but...

I have definitely seen better deals than this. I'm not a fan of Bestbuy, or of Gateway, but my buddy just bought a gateway 15" laptop with dual core AMD 2ghz, couple gigs of ram, 250gig HDD, DVD drive, etc, etc....for $600.

And I'm sure more power can be found for less if you're willing to look. Anyway, I'm blabbing. Good day.
