I repair and service computers as my job, and I'm wondering where all the great Dell laptop deals went. I haven't seen any forever.
I recommend to my customers Dell laptops, and I have them take advantage of the laptop deals that Dell provides.
I'm wondering why there have been no deals. Many of my customers like the 9300s because of the big screens, so I am looking for deals on 9300s. The normal configuration that I recommend is a 1.6-1.7 processor, 512MB RAM, 64MB ATI video, DVD-ROM/CD-RW, etc. Normally I can get one of these for around $900-$950 including shipping/tax.
There are no deals that are coming even close. I have about three customers waiting on good deals on notebooks. I do know that the majority of Dell's current deals are expiring tomorrow morning, do you think the good deals will finally be back?
