Takes 4 drives internally

This is a nice server when you add the $1 Quad Core Xeon CPU, and I'd consider upgrading the RAM to 4 Gig for $69 (4x 1 Gig DIMMS, machine takes up to 8 Gig (4x 2 Gig DIMMs)), holds 4x SATA drives, and has a reasonable compliment of expansion slots internally).

This would be a good basis for a Windows Home Server or other home server (Linux, Windows Server 2008, etc.), and would even be good if you want to run Windows Hyper-V server (free from MS, no activation) or Hyper-V under Server 2008.

For $550 ($449 + $1 CPU upgrade + $69 4 Gig upgrade + $29.95 S/H) + tax you've got a pretty capable machine with room to grow.

I couldn't find in specs if it needed Registered or Unbuffered ECC ram, but I found 2G sticks of ECC ram from NewEgg for $20 each. At that price you could leave the configuration at a single 1G stick and add 4G for $40 more or go all the way to 8G for $80. This is VERY tempting.
