What would make this a "good deal" is if the monitor supported 1920 x 1200 and not 1920 x 1080 as it does now. Increasing the contrast ratio from 1000:1 to at least 2000:1 and response time < 5ms.

As it is, the monitor is average at best.

A top notch 22" thru 24" monitor would support 1920 x1200
Contrast ratio of 3000:1
and response time of 3ms.
