the deduction for the 2gb memory to the 1gb is only 10.00 now, i would keep the 2gb for that price! total 454.00 for a duo, 2gb memory and with 20 inch lcd, not bad

what kind of video card does this have? I've noticed these budget pc combos tend to have crummy integrated cards that don't perform well for gamers.

You have to do the 1GB single channel to get -$20, but if someone in the family is non-technical I would just have them keep the 2GB versus the work involved in getting up to 2GB at someone else's house.

This is an ultra cheap onboard video and as a mini tower this may be a low-profile chassis, so one would have limited video card upgrade options (and I would not advise those crazy prices they're offering for the video upgrade).
