Norton and McCaffee run rebates constantly where you get the AV software for free. Usually Norton tries to reduce their inventory in August though. Thats when I've gotten the AV for the last 3 years.

When they give the software away like this I pick it up to give away to my buds and family.

This year the best deal I've seen on Norton System Works has been $20 after rebate - until this deal that is :thumb:

Also, I've noticed that you can just reload NSW after the one year period runs out and it will give you another year. There's a couple of minor updates that you are locked out of, otherwise full access to the software for another year.

One more thing, NSW doesn't seem to care if you install it on multiple computers. You have full access to updates on as many machines as you like.

Ok, I see the 30$ upgrade and 20 rebate. How do you get 100 worth? Whats all involved.

Few will probably get this, but oh well, can't hurt to submit a request. What's the worst that happen, they don't mail it? So oh well ;)

This deals over, you had to order by around noon on Sat. Both me and a buddy ordered and got a confirmation email from Symantec right away. Hopefully it will come.
 
As posted here on Oct. 17, has anyone received their SystemWorks in the mail free? I still haven't gotten mine, although the email did say it might take 6-8 weeks...

Should I expect to receive this? Or did someone confirm it dead?
 
I still have not gotten mine either.... It's a freebie... If it gets here great... If not... I am not out anything....
