I've heard of weird body mods but this takes the cake...err bagel...

The bagel head is the injection of saline solution under the skin. The person can request for a bagel head on the head, in the hand, or any part of the body. The created effect looks like a bagel under the skin, hence the name, bagel head. There are risks of infection, skin stretching, headache and minor complaints. The bagel can also be colored when the saline solution is colored. The bagel effect lasts for one day.

There are photos of a man with one large bagel on his head and his skin has needle marks. Bizarre magazine has the gruesome pictures here.
