DVD recorder/recording help!

Its a sharp DVD recorder, but doesn't makes copies of any of my movie DVD's.(for backup purposes)


Is it like that way or i am doing something wrong? so does none of those recorders will make a copy??


Its not a dvd recorder for PC, its a standalone, Sharp DVD player/recorder+VHS.

Those will not make back-up copies of DVD's. You can only record television programming straight to DVD or transfer home videos from VHS to DVD.
