PROGRAM INFORMATION
======================================
The HP Deskjet printer you will be evaluating is not onthe market today. The term “beta” is used to refer toa pre-release product still under development. As aresult, this product has not completed HP’s fullquality assurance program and may have errors ordefects. A beta test helps us discover unknown errorsor defects and fix them before releasing the product.We have learned that HP customers may use theirproducts in unanticipated ways; by placing betaprinters in the homes/offices of users, HP is able tolearn more about our customers. Depending on your location, the delivery/setup of yourunit would involve two or three HPemployees/representatives coming to your home/officefor up to three hours to observe your experience insetting up the hardware, installing product software,and testing basic functionality. We ask that youplease factor in this timeframe to complete this task. During the testing period we request and encourage youto report to HP any and all problems, issues,suggestions, comments, ideas and/or questions regardingthe product. You will be able to easily communicatewith HP through your personal VOConline FeedbackCenter. There are specific areas of interest where yourfeedback will be particularly valuable. These include:* Product installation issues* Error messages/defects* Product ease of use* Customer satisfaction levels It is our intention to leave the product at your homeor office for the duration of the test, but in theevent that there are unexpected difficulties with theproduct or software, we could remove the product todetermine the cause of the issue. Hewlett-Packard will compensate those participants thatcomplete all required To Do Items and Surveys andreturn the beta unit within 2-weeks of the end of theprogram, with a comparable production version of theunit when it is available. At this time we estmatethat date to be June 2008.
