Has anyone gotten this to work (besides the lucky person who submitted the deal)?

I made the mistake of following these steps exactly (i.e. buy first and do the PM later). With the way the receipt prints up, it's virtually guaranteed not to work PM'ing afterwards unless the customer service employee is blind or just doesn't care. Too bad the steps didn't list the approach with the greater probability of success. I was told I can have the PM or the gift cards but not both, so I ended up returning them.

This is too YMMV for me to justify a trip to another store or wasting more time on it for the 2 seasons I needed. I already own the rest.
