I got my card within 10 days! and the gift card arrived by FedEx within 3 weeks of making a purchase. cool eh? The card has features like price protection offered by VISA and temporary card number for online transactions that you think might be too shady to give the actual card number.

Instead of an annual fee, does this card charge a Monthly Fee? Or am I just reading this wrong?

the fee is for the gift card. That's always there for any gift cards that you get, usually charged after 6 to 12 months of issuing or inactivity.
 
got card friday 10/14, used it 10/15, and i will post when i receive 100.00 card
 
So, as long as I use the $100 gift card within 6 mos. of issuance, then I won't be charged the monthly $2.50 maint fee?

I got the card and made the first purchase but still no GC
 
Call MBNA Customer care @ 800-932-2775 or 866-724-9224 and let them know you didn't get the promo. Am sure they'll sort this. Their service is a gazzillion times better than those bloodsucker Chase/BankOne.
