Log in w/your ID and password. Either take the survey that pops up, or skip it. The page will then go to camelsite.com. Click on "Wides" at the top of the page. The free lighter promotion is in the top right corner. Click it. Choose from one of 3 designs. Enjoy your free lighter. :)

Offer expires 08/31/2008 or while supplies last.

I did exactly what you said, but when I got to the Camel Wides page, there was nothing in the RH corner about a lighter. Maybe only some people are eligible. Hope it works for others, but so far, it's not working for me.
 
yup same here....it might be because when i registered, i didn't give me last 4 digits of ssn or my driver's license, as well as email... hhmm
 
Nothing there at all! I even changed my preferences to camel wides..will call them tomorrow..enough waste of time! I'm po'd...everyone is stating that they're already out but i doubt it!

Sorry that some people are having trouble with the post. I put directions up b/c it took me a while to find it too. But once I did, It worked fine for me....I ordered two. I received the promo mailing for this yesterday, and it appears to be open to anyone registered with Camel. I hope everyone gets in.

that's what i got when i clicked on the link. maybe the others have the same problem. i don't know what cookie i would need for this.

I think you need to be logged into the site and then click the link to the offer for it to work.

You have to be signed in the Camel site first then click. Sorry!
 
ok here's the deal..FIRST LOG INTO www.camel.com w/ your PID (Peronsal ID) and password..then go to message boards..put in FREE LIGHTER URL and put 30 per page and last 7 days..then click on this link:http://www.camelsite.com/promotions/...=WIDESLIGHTER8 that's in the message.
you will see it I think it's about #16 down. it will then let you select your lighter!
So there u go y'all..
when I called today they told me only if you got the invite..but that's not necessarily the truth if you can find the link! Will take 10-13 weeks to deliver. Said they're going to send me a free gift anyway. But I still was able to get the lighter doing what I said from above!
 
its not going to work putting the link in but the above poster is correct go to message boards scroll down to the bottom and click "search" put free lighter, last 7 days and search last 30 posts it is #16 and click on the link that is there :)
