(Expired) Chipotle - Free BOO-Ritos on 10/31 for Dressing Up As Burrito

Chipotle is doing it again. They are giving away a "Boo-Rito" for dressing up as a burrito or something Chipotle-like (anything in foil, a head of romaine lettuce, bag of chips, avocado, etc.) will get a free burrito, order of tacos, bowl, or salad.

Only on 10/31/09, from 6pm to close
Works at all Chipotle restaurants in the US (and Canada!)

Your loss!

This is an awesome deal... the bf & I went on a tour of all nearby locations when they did this a couple years ago, we came home with 7lbs of free food! The tiniest scrap of aluminum foil qualifies you. I made an aluminum foil rope necklace and similar bangles and no one even contested it. Will definitely be doing it again this year!

:boogy:

It's really as simple as just putting some foil on your head or around your neck. I'm a college kid, so I'll do just about anything for free food or beer! :thumb:

Wrap yourself up like a mummy. Just tell them you are the toilet paper for the after effects of the burrito. :ack:

Don't make fun

For real, you just need to have a piece of foil on, for about 30 seconds. Last year i did this and they give the free food (basically it's a 'come in and get free food, period' promotion, they just want to have some fun with it).

I BET THE POTATO COSTUME WILL COST MORE THAN THE BOO-Ritos. SO, WHAT THE POINT?

This promo was SO COOL! It' true: all you had to do was have a wee bit o' foil on your body. But since this was my first time participating, I wanted to "make sure", so I brought an emergency warmth blanket with me.

The people in Burbank were feeling the love! As some patrons were exiting the restaurant, they were handing off their foil hats to the less adorned in line. There were some college kids standing behind me, and as they didn't see me with any foil on (I had my blanket in my purse), they offered some Reynold's Wrap to me. I mean, they had an entire ROLL in a backpack!

When we finally inched in thru the door -- loooooong line -- I got my little packet of blanket out. One of the kids held one end of it as I unwrapped it, and unwrapped it, and unwrapped it... Then he held it as I wound myself into it.

Voila! Foil Wrapped Boo-rito costume! :)

As I was making my way along the counter, one of the employees asked to take my photo. THEN, on my way out, spontaneous applause from patrons! Yup, it was very cool: this one gal looked up form her burrito bowl, and started to clap. The rest of the people at her table started to clap, and then some of the other patrons!

I stood there & took a bow.
:teeth:

Yes, it's the little things in life that can make your day.
