No matter how I configure this I can only get the price down to 389. What am I missing?

Found It. I needed to remove the speakers.

Sad

Can't seem to find Pavilion SR1010Z. Anyone find it? There is a 1010n, however but is a celeron and doesn't have the $250 rebate.

It is right there in the center.

The $250 rebate is not listed with the computer but if you click on the link provided by spoofee, it takes you to the rebate form.

on 'place order' keep getting:

If cookie support is enabled and you still receive this message, then please add http://ctoweb.compusa.com to your trusted sites list in your browser settings.

-did all that and set all security to low. any ideas?

It's not a Pavilion. It's a Presario.

Same problem here. "Cookie not found" Anyone else having trouble? Or more importantly, anyone else finish the transaction?

Ooops, my bad as usual. Thanks.

Anyone know if you can pick up in-store and save on the shipping?

Sic deal

Called 800-comp-usa and they weren't able to pull the item up on their screens. Because of this, they couldn't sell me the item. Was transferred once to another "sales" employee and they said they couldn't take phone orders. I was instructed to go to my local store.

I am also interested. I don't really need another computer but I know a few people that could use one. What an deal!

If you are not trying to squeeze every last penny out of it, you can spend $30 to upgrade the processor to the AMD Athlon(TM) 64 3200+ operating at 2.2GHz then go ahead and order yourself the 64bit Windows XP Professional trial (download for free --550 MB) download here. It may only last for 120 days but it will give you a machine to play around on with it for a little while and you only end up paying $89 for it anyway.

And besides, seriously, who among us does not need another computer that needs to be reformatted and reinstalled every 120 days!!! ;)

That's what I am doing anyway!

I am not sure why some of you cannot find this PC. I was able too, so were 2 others I know. It is there, just be sure to follow the steps above. Shipping is what turned me off though, $69.

I've tried 2 different PCs and 4 different browsers, I always encounter the 'Cookie not found' problem once I hit the 'Add to Cart' button..

Your right, I never tried to add it to the cart. :o

My post above was actually geared toward the people who could not seem to find this setup listed. I actually called the 2 others and they could not add to the cart either.

I will mark this as dead, other forums are reporting the same errors.

You might try the brick and mortar locations. I was told on CompUSA's hotline that this had to be ordered from a store location.

how do I add the cookie and make them a 'trusted' site?
