Insider Pages is giving out a $10 Shell gift card for writing 10 reviews on local business ($30 max/person). Reviews are for virtually any business such asa coffee chains, bars, restaurants, and more. Read more rules here

Each review must have at least 50 words so you are getting paid about 2 cents / word.

After you complete 10 business reviews, send your mailing
address and a notification email to [email protected].
 
let's see $1 for each review and the review has to be at least 50 words so each word you write is 2 cents. nah too much work...maybe if the price of gas continues to rise i might reconsider :-/
 
Sounds too much like school for me. It's bringing back bad memories just thinking about it. Thanks, but I'll pass on this one.
 
I did my first ten friday night, saturday i got a thank you email confirming my gift card. sunday i did ten more, they said gift card would arrive soon!

I have a computer in front of my at work. I normally just browse forums and play games all day. I can do something productive with my time (other than work).
 
There aren't any shell gas stations within 60 miles of me.

When you type the review, there's a countdown for you. The 150 characters minimum will make up approximately the 50 words for this offer. You'll be surprised how few 50 words are! It only takes like maybe 5 minutes to type. I got my 10 done in about 1 hr.

well i did my 10 reviews and sent the email letting them i know i did the requirement so they could send me a gas card. I did 10 restaurants. i get an email back saying restaurants dont count and i need to do them on doctors, schools, hair salons, etc. WTF!?

If you bothered to just scroll down a little they tell you what doesn't qualify!

i did my reviews in under 9 minutes! lol you guys type slooooooow ;)

but after someone DOES restaurants:

If you bothered to just scroll down a little they tell you what doesn't qualify!

crisplinen... your statement about waiting for gas prices to go up before putting in the effort seems backwards to me. A $10 gas card today will give you MORE gas than after gas prices go up, hence you are getting more for you effort...

Better hurry and do those reviews before you only get 1 gallon from one of these cards! lol
 
I think Ill contact them again since I still havent recieved my gas card.Im not doing anymore reviews for them until I get it.

I got am email yesterday saying they couldn't find my account and wanted to be sure the email address they had was the one I registered with. I don't know how else they would have gotten my email address unless I registered with it. If you have any luck let me know.

Mine arrived yesterday, after about 10 days waiting time. Great find! It's in the mail to my poor, starving niece away at college!

oh i was just saying if im really strapped for cash ill do the offer...but im pretty lazy when it comes to writing reviews, etc...

Did my ten and I got this cryptic message emailed to me when I asked for my card:

You are currently a community leader from 10/3- 10/17/2005. Only reviews written will qualify for that promotion. As of now you have 7 written before those dates and three that are inside those dates. I encourage you to finish up the CLP and earn your cash! Then write three more reviews after the 17th and they will qualify you towards a gas card.

Ummm, I have NO idea what it means. Any takers?
I emailed them back to say what the heck?
